Question 1

What is the All Islamic Living charity program?

Accepted Answer

It is a transparent way to give through the All Islamic Living platform. You can support our own services or fund specific campaigns such as food relief and Gaza help.

Question 2

Who can donate?

Accepted Answer

Any registered member with a Donor or standard user account. Administrators and charity organizers manage campaigns and therefore cannot donate from their staff accounts.

Question 3

Do I need an account to donate?

Accepted Answer

Yes. An account lets us prefill your details, keep your receipts and let you manage recurring gifts and favourites.

Question 4

What is the difference between “All Islamic Living” and a campaign?

Accepted Answer

Gifts to All Islamic Living cover the costs of running our own services only. Gifts to a campaign are used for that specific cause.

Question 5

Is there a minimum donation?

Accepted Answer

You choose any amount you like; the amount field only needs to be greater than zero. Suggested amounts are provided for convenience.

Question 6

Can I donate monthly, weekly or daily?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Frequency is optional: pick one-time, daily, weekly or monthly when you donate.

Question 7

How do I stop a recurring donation?

Accepted Answer

Open Dashboard → My Donations and press “Stop auto-pay” on the donation. It takes effect immediately and you can do it at any time.

Question 8

Can I donate anonymously?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tick the anonymous option at checkout and your name will not be shown publicly.

Question 9

Can I see how much a campaign has raised?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every campaign page shows the live amount raised, the goal (if one is set) and a progress bar. This information is open to everyone.

Question 10

Do all campaigns have a goal?

Accepted Answer

No. We can set a specific budget for a campaign or keep it open-ended. Either way the total raised is always visible.

Question 11

Who creates campaigns?

Accepted Answer

Campaigns are created by All Islamic Living administrators and approved charity organizers.

Question 12

How much does the platform keep?

Accepted Answer

Only 1% of a campaign donation is retained by the platform. The remaining 99% is spent on the campaign.

Question 13

What is the 1% used for?

Accepted Answer

It is reserved for volunteers’ transportation and similar costs required to carry out the work.

Question 14

What if a volunteer declines the reimbursement?

Accepted Answer

The amount is donated by All Islamic Living to another campaign.

Question 15

Where does a gift to All Islamic Living go?

Accepted Answer

It is spent only on All Islamic Living services and their running costs.

Question 16

Can my organization be listed?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if you run a charity with your own website. You can apply to be featured to gain exposure and reach more donors.

Question 17

What does it cost?

Accepted Answer

We charge a 5% platform fee on funds raised for partner charities through our platform.

Question 18

Accepted Answer

We verify the organization before it is published and may request supporting documents.

Question 19

Is my payment information safe?

Accepted Answer

Payments are processed by secure third-party providers. We do not store your full card details.

Question 20

Do you comply with U.S. regulations?

Accepted Answer

We operate in line with applicable U.S. laws and payment regulations. Whether a gift qualifies for a tax deduction depends on the receiving organization’s status, so please check with a tax professional.
